We couldn't wait to taste Duca Petraccone when senior buyer Thomas Woolrych declared this his best find yet. After all, level-headed Thomas is not one for hyperbole and his many other Italian finds would take some beating …   

But he's right, this trumps the lot! It's pure Primitivo - "a hero in southern Italy" The Sunday Times - and comes from the Collucis, family winemakers in Martina Franca for generations.
