According to The Times, Navarra in northeast Spain, is the "wine region to watch". Over the years, its wines have become known both nationally and internationally for their undoubted and steadily improving quality.
This delicious Tempranillo is sourced from grapes grown in the Lerín area, in the enclaves of Ribera Alta, and was made by talented winemaker Pilar Calvo at award-winning Bodega Virgen Blanca.
A young red made with Tempranillo and Cabernet grapes. Fruity aromas then a mass of heady, wild berry flavours. Wonderfully smooth hence an inspired partner to salads and hors d'oeuvres, soft cheeses or grilled meats.
